As Vice President of IT and Cyber Security with Crossplane Capital, Jerry partners with our senior management teams to create and implement technology roadmaps that support value creation plans. Jerry’s responsibilities include IT diligence assessments in target company IT systems and the evaluation of cyber security readiness in new acquisitions. Throughout the life of the investment, Jerry supports the development of IT integration plans for add-on acquisitions and creation of an IT continuous improvement culture.

Prior to joining Crossplane Capital, Jerry served as Chief Information Officer at AFGlobal Corporation, a Carlyle Group portfolio company specializing in Oil and Gas OEM equipment manufacturing. During his tenure as CIO, Jerry served as a member of the Carlyle Group CISO Summit and was actively involved in the development of policy and programs for Cyber Security Risk Management. He has led numerous application development and integration initiatives, including core ERP implementations, Robotics Automation, Cloud Migration, and Digital Transformation projects.

Jerry brings to the table over 30 years of IT experience across a broad array of industries, including manufacturing, energy, telecommunication, and professional services. Prior to his work with AFGlobal, Jerry served as a consultant with FTI Consulting and Andersen Consulting.

Jerry graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BS in Industrial Engineering from the University of Arkansas.  

Growing up in a Military family, Jerry developed a passion for adventure and enjoys traveling and spending time with his 6 children. When he is not on the golf course, he can often be found at a card table playing RAZZ or PLO. He believes Eddie, Alex, David Lee Roth and Michael Anthony are the only legitimate Van Halen lineup.
